Marcato Warranty — 10 Years of Peace of Mind

Marcato offers a 10-year warranty on all custom-made furniture from its high-end carpentry line — kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, and Wood shelves. This reflects our confidence in what we manufacture: premium panels, hardware, and finishes made to last.

What is covered

Structure and carpentry

• Duratex or Arauco MDF panels on doors (20mm)
• Duratex or Arauco MDP panels throughout the internal structure (carcass, shelves, back panel)
• Joints, connections, screw fastening, and machining
• IVE Lechler micro-textured paint (Italy)
• Natural wood veneer
• Melamine BP, laminate, glass finishes

European hardware

• Blum LegraBox runners with full extension and BLUMOTION (kitchens, bathrooms)
• Blum Tandem runners with full extension and BLUMOTION (bedrooms, shelves)
• Salice Silentia Plus hinges (Italy) on all doors
• Soft-closing system

Warranty period

10 years from the documented delivery date — visible on the invoice and delivery receipt.

What is not covered

The warranty does not cover situations resulting from:

• Misuse, impacts, or stresses beyond design capacity
• Direct exposure to intense heat sources (open oven, etc.) or running water on under-counter furniture
• Cleaning with abrasive products, concentrated alcohol, solvents, or metallic sponges
• Modifications made by third parties not authorized by Marcato
• Natural wear and tear of upholstered parts (ottomans, chairs), fabrics, and natural straw in humid environments
• Paint applied on site after delivery

Care that preserves the warranty

Recommended cleaning

For painted surfaces (IVE Lechler micro-texture), natural veneer, and melamine BP:

• Soft cloth lightly dampened with water and neutral soap
• Dry immediately with a dry cloth
• Avoid products with ammonia, chlorine, concentrated alcohol, or abrasives

Hardware (Blum + Salice)

• Do not lubricate — Blum and Salice systems are pre-lubricated at the factory
• Keep free of dust and debris in the tracks
• In case of misalignment, contact Marcato — hardware has fine adjustment available

Solid wood (Filleto, Rustica handles and Empório pieces)

• Dry or lightly dampened cloth
• Avoid direct contact with water for prolonged periods
• Once or twice a year: apply maintenance oil (consult Marcato for guidance)

Natural straw (Varenna, Frame Palha, Frame Duplo)

• Vacuum regularly with a soft brush
• Keep in dry environments — straw is not suitable for humid bathrooms
• Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight

How to claim the warranty

1. Gather the delivery receipt or invoice with the date
2. Photograph the problem (structural, finish, or hardware)
3. Contact Marcato through official channels
4. Our technical team will assess the case within 5 business days
5. If covered by warranty, we will schedule maintenance or replacement free of charge
